ACADEMIC YEAR CALENDAR 2024-2025

The Academic Calendars give key information about term dates, review dates, and holiday dates. Where possible, they also indicate the timing of other key events such as formal examinations and reassessments.
Learner Review No.3
The third learner review will offer students a final reflection on their achievements and challenges before the term concludes.
End of Term 1: Friday 13th December
The first term concludes on Friday, 13th December, marking the start of the winter break. This end-of-term period allows students and staff to reflect on the term’s achievements and recharge before the new year.
Term 2 Begins: Monday 6th January 2025
The new term begins on Monday, 6th January 2025. Students return refreshed and ready to dive into the next phase of their academic journey, with new goals and opportunities for growth.
Learner Review No.4
The fourth learner review marks an early check-in for Term 2, allowing students to assess their progress, discuss challenges, and set actionable goals. This review helps ensure students are on track and supported as they work towards their academic objectives for the new term.
Easter Break: Monday 7th April – Monday 21st April
Students will enjoy a two-week Easter break, offering time to relax, recharge, and prepare for the final term of the academic year.
Bank Holidays: Friday 18th April & Monday 21st April
These dates include additional holidays for students and staff, extending the Easter break. Classes will resume on Tuesday, 22nd April.
Term 3 Begins: Tuesday 22nd April 2025
The final term of the academic year starts on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025. Students return from the Easter break ready to complete their studies, work towards end-of-year assessments, and achieve their academic goals.
Bank Holiday: Monday 5th May
There will be a bank holiday on Monday, 5th May. Classes will be paused for the day, providing students and staff with a long weekend before resuming regular schedules on Tuesday, 6th May.
Learner Review No.6
The sixth learner review offers a chance for students to reflect on their progress during Term 3, identify any areas needing improvement, and solidify strategies for success in the final stretch of the academic year. This review supports students in achieving their end-of-year goals and preparing for upcoming assessments.
Half Term: Monday 26th May – Friday 30th May 2025
Students will have a week-long break during the final term, from Monday, 26th May to Friday, 30th May.
Spring Bank Holiday: Monday, 26th May
This holiday falls at the start of the break, giving students and staff a well-deserved pause before the final weeks of the academic year. Regular classes will resume on Monday, 2nd June.
Term 3 Ends: Friday 19th July 2025
The academic year concludes on Friday, 19th July. This marks the beginning of the summer break, giving students and staff time to reflect on their achievements before returning for the next school year.
