Drug Awareness Programme - Pinehirst Education

Students Gaining Insight During Drug Awareness Workshop

In January, Pinehirst Education's enrichment programme provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the detrimental effects of drugs on individuals and society. The session featured simulated examples of Class A and B drugs and highlighted their adverse impacts on young people's health, well-being, and vulnerability to criminal exploitation.

Students enrolled in the Track & Rail courses were particularly informed about the critical importance of abstaining from drug use, especially considering the rail industry's stringent and ongoing drug testing protocols.

Additionally, students were reminded of the support available through 'We Are With You', an organisation dedicated to offering guidance to young people on substance-related issues.

Feedback from both staff and students was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting Pinehirst Education's commitment to fostering a safe and informed learning environment.
